Subject: About EV1
I can be polite, but I can't trust them. That has nothing
to do with their purchase of the SCO Source crud license either.
It has more
to do with the continual DNS poisoning, DDoS attacks, and other shenanigans that
originate from within their domains. I am certain that I am not alone in that view
either. There are good people that work there, but someone has access within at
such a level as to originate a lot of DNS poisoning, DDoS and other attacks from
deep within their IP range.
Last December, a DDoS was launched at my website
that sucked out about 230 GB of bandwidth in 3 days. Fortunately for me, I have
a competent and extremely understanding ISP. The intent was to knock me offline
and put the site out of commission - but it failed.
Everyone I spoke to all
agreed: EV1 was the source. I suspect that EV1 is the source for a lot of the activities
that we have seen. Seems our boy has perfected the art of screwing with DNS cache
fairly well.
Your days are numbered pal.
Have a nice day. >:)
