Subject: My letter to SEC and Yahoo
I am a frequent poster of the Yahoo financial
message board about the stock SCOX (Caldera International Inc), and would like to
report what appears to be frequent posts by people who appear to be insiders of
the company, or otherwise financially compensated by the company or agents thereof,
to post false and misleading information about this stock. Over the past several
months, several posters have repeatedly posted outright lies about the frivolous
lawsuits the SCO Group has brought against companies it had contractual relationships
with, all in the name of claiming to "own" the Linux operating system, which is
impossible. These lies are intended to defraud the investing public, and steal their
hard earned money from them, and at the same time, helps to pump up the stock, which
is rather thinly traded, while at the same time, create fear, uncertainty, and doubt
(FUD) amongst IT managers throughout the world, which might persuade them to stay
away from Linux; this would provide a tangible benefit to Microsoft, which has been
heavily involved in the continued financing of this litigation strategy, as documented
on numerous websites with official court documents, as well as corporate memos.
The SEC may also wish to look into the incredibly frequent occurrences of "marking
the close", and "painting the tape", which can be clearly demonstrated throughout
the recent past history of this stock.
I would like the SEC to investigate
this clearly illegal activity, and would request that Yahoo reveal the IP and identities
of the following posters;

just_bs2000

m_wachs
r_u_a_pita

(I'm sure
there are more than this, but getting these people exposed for their illegal activities
would certainly be a good start.)
Thank you for your time. -Bob S. / Maplewood,

at strong buys to make up that list. annielinux was just a straight troll, aug9_2003
is a short that posts as a strong buy so longs will read him.

Hm, you are slightly off the mark
Bob, like way the F**K OFF. But that is okay, as I am going to bother trying to
explain my-self. I will tell you, I have no connection with the SCOx or their loosey
stock except to see it go under. But hey, what do you care, If you really want to
know who I am, give me an email, I will gladly tell you. Now for the moral of this
post, if you added my id, and you are spouting off without knowledge you got some
serious personal problem of which I don't want to understand, but you got my part
wrong. So let me put it in simple words. You are in serious need of medication,
and a straight jacket. Next time you might just try asking me you piece of trash,
before you jump out there making rash statements such as this....

Firstly, to those asking why they might
be on the list, most were from manyhats23's msg# 217751, titled "Troll PatrolŽ Quality";
I guess this shows the hazards of posting as a "strong buy", when no one with two
functioning synapses in their cranium would buy this steaming pile of fetid crap.
Now, having said that, I'm sorry for including you, r_u_a_pita, in my missive.
What can I say? I'm a much better shot with my Ruger KP89, than I am here on this
board... as for this part - "You are in serious need of medication, and a straight
jacket" - like Ed McMahon said, "Yyyyyyes! You are correct, sir!". Yup, I goofed.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. The SEC has had countless complaints
about these crooks (yes, I said it - the entire corporate leadership of SCO are
criminals, and I welcome them to prove me wrong), and they have so far done nothing
about it. They did put Martha Stewart behind bars, though, so I'm glad they protected
me from her... right.
Again, sorry to upset anyone that doesn't belong on
that list, but to those that we all know DO belong (ledite, et al), you can all
kiss my ass. If you don't end up doing time in this life, you'll get it later. Karma
is a bitch.

I can get over it, I am a big boy, but
I really want to see the efforts aimed to the right places, to stop corporations
from stealing real ppl blind, and then coming back to steal their seeing eye dog.
Mistakes are human, and that is really what we are just humans, and we all make
mistake, I know i have more than made my share along life's road. So lets stay on
target, the target is to defend TUX against all who wants to chain TUX down like
a slave ( I find this much easier than naming all those would like to see F/OSS
go away).

Wow, I knew you and your minions
had multiple nicknames here, but I'm impressed! 13 recs, for a worthless post, complete
with name calling! I'm so glad you're thinking of me. You're too kind.
So
that's at least 3 nicknames I've managed to piss off - you (Buttinfullfestering),
queer_not_coherent, and thousand_dollar_sluts, although that could only be 1 or
2 actual humans; I use that term loosely, by the way.
For those shills/trolls/idiots
who can't read, have someone ELSE re-read my very first post here, msg. 105058.
I do not own ANY stock, I have NEVER owned any stock, and I have NEVER had a brokerage
account. PERIOD. I am not a short. I would not let Darl and Axis of WeaselŽ have
one red cent of my money; in fact, if you did ANY research at all on my posting
history, you would have come across msg. 210852; here it is again;
All stocks
= scam?
After reading up on this fiasco in the early days, before SCO really
knew what they were up against, I had the impression that this kind of patently
obvious, and highly illegal, stock price manipulation was not very common, and it
would be stopped by the SEC in short order.
HA!
That's a good one,
huh?
These bastards are literally telling the SEC to piss off; they don't
care if it's against the law, they are going to do it anyway. The SEC has sat on
their loathesome, pimpled behinds and done NOTHING about this scam, deciding instead
to protect us from that spawn of Satan himself, Martha Stewart, (*shudder*) and
that is why I'll never buy stock in any company. If *these* incompetent stooges
can get away with it, just think of what all the companies with actually intelligent
criminals are getting away with! No way, I'm out. If I'm going to invest at all,
it will be in coins. At least they look nicer than that diseased tree does on the
SCO logo.
Justice will not be done until every executive of SCO, their cohorts,
and our FUD-buddies are in a maximum security prison. I await that day with glee.

Subject: That's all, folks!
No, I'm not leaving; sorry, biff...
No,
that title is in regards to my income. I have one 40 hour a week job, and I pull
in just under 30K a year. I'm thinking that's not too unusual in the US these days,
although I don't have any college education, so unless I get a gig as Charlie Watts'
replacement on the upcoming Stones tour, I won't be going up too many more tax brackets.
I do have a retirement nest egg, as it were, from the time spent at my previous
employer - about 45,000 dollars by next March, when it will be rolled over into
the plan I have here at my current job. I've already made sure none of the funds
are tainted by Royce, by the way. Any others I need to steer clear from, so as not
to enrich SCOX?
It is very heartwarming to see the appreciation for the working
man here. Thanks for sticking up for the little guys like me. When I retire, hopefully
at least part time in Grand Marais, MN, I'll get a round for anyone who shows up
at Sven and Ole's. Deal?

Well I am right there with you Salty.
In my job I pull in just under 30k a year. 4 years ago though I was given a
choice a could take a pay raise or have them pay my health insurance. With Insurance
climbing 10-15% every year I made the right choice.
Of course I work between
47 and 52 hours a week, but overtime is wonderful. I haven't started a retirment
nest egg yet, but I figure I will do that for my 30th birthday to myself.

Subject: Why SCO gets no respect
...and deserves none, as well...
As we all know, the ringleaders, biff, qnc, ledite (apparently too busy under
biff's desk to be posting here), minipooper (in same location), and their Mini Me
wannabe micro-trolls never get any respect, apart from that which they give to themselves.
I know I don't have any for them.
I would, however, listen to anyone here with
an open mind, if they could once and for all, without running their posts through
the BIFF-O-Matic Obfuscator 5000 Incoherency MachineŽ (available now at all SCO
Group resellers, except in Germany), their story, as long as it has just one thing
in it...

THE FACTS!!!!!!
That's all
we want; facts. Not a tangled web of lies and deceit; not out-of-context quotes
stitched together as poorly as Darl's hair hat; (What's that, you say? That's his
real hair? Whoa, dude. Forget suing IBM, you should be suing Great Clips.)
Not
your Alice-in-Wonderland fairy tale, chemically-enhanced "interpretation" of contracts,
legal documents, and sealed agreements - to which SCO, in this incarnation, was
never even a party to... Nope. All we want is the truth. Facts are the truth. Have
one person come in here, tell us the truth, and show us the facts, and then we'll
talk. Until then, just keep lying to us. We're very used to it. (Remember, too,
that EVERY OTHER ENTITY, that was a party to the agreements and contracts you just
love to selectively quote from, have all shown that your "interpretation" fails
every legal test, and that you are wrong.)
P.S.It's painfully obvious that the
reason the henchmen at SCO keep saying they look forward to having a jury decide
this mess of theirs; that's why biff, et al, are here. They are trying, desperately,
to confuse everything so much, that the jury will just throw their hands up in the
air, and give them something - ANYTHING - to spin and FUD into some sort of victory,
which gets them more money, probably from Microsoft again, under the guise of "we
HAVE to pay them for their oh-so-valuable IP" crap. Let us hope the judges see through
this bull
P.P.S. Your facts
CANNOT consist of quotes from your own, or other trolls' posts. That's called an
echo chamber, I think. We'll have none of that. I know - you can get all of the
court docs to back up your "facts" at PROSCO.net.
Oh, wait... never mind.
