why not contact the reporters that have been faithful to try to be at least fair and see what they say would be the way to go?

Excellent advice. I did both of those things today. Got a "thank you" from the reporter on my letter regarding Novell's waiver of SCOX's claimed right to force IBM to keep their own Dynix code confidential. We'll see if he writes anything. Reported this morning's reach-around at:
