Hello Dear Friends:

Here is SCO's latest 10-Q report, available for review here:

www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1102542/000110465903020700/a03-3388_110q.htm

Here is a brief analysis of the 10-Q:

MS: SCO's Sugardaddy
http://linux-universe.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=840

Here are a few of my favorite passages:

<quote>
1. Revenue for products is down
2. Revenue for services is down
3. During the three months ended July 31, 2003, Microsoft Corporation
(?Microsoft?) accounted for approximately 25 percent of total revenue and
Sun Microsystems, Inc. (?Sun?) accounted for approximately 12 percent of
total revenue.
4. MS also "exercised their option" to give SCO *more* money on July 31,
2003. So next quarter they will have another chunk of cash from MS to put
on the books.

So what we have here is a company that would be bleeding red ink if not for
MS and Sun underwriting their frivolous lawsuit. At least Sun has a Unix OS
and can make a claim that they paid in order to avoid more expensive
litigation. MS is just full of cow manure and threw them money to fund
anti-Linux FUD.
</quote>

Just one more proof that Microsoft Lies Cheats and Steals in order to
maintain their predatory monopoly.

No wonder Microsoft is held in such contempt by the IT community.

Brian

Hello Dear Friends:

Groklaw's Open Letter to SCO's CEO Darl McBride
www.groklaw.com/article.php?story=20030920122117265

Now all of us knows that SCO's recent attack on Linux, the GPL and the open
source community is merely a Microsoft funded FUD attack aimed at
discrediting their most dangerous competitor.

The fact is that Darl McBride recently published an open letter addressing
the open source community (filed with lies, half truths and spin) which
never the less must be addressed.

I will not quote any of it other than to recommend you give it a read.

No wonder Microsoft and it's minions are held in such contempt by the IT
community.

Best regards,

Brian
