Subject: To complain about the Cohen pump
...call 877-251-5685 and complain
that the largest institutional holder of SCOX was able to recommend a stock, saying
it had "good fundamentals," when nothing could be further from the truth.
Use the ammo from threenorth
h++p://www.threenorth.com/sco/index.html
and threaten, responsibly, to call CBSMarketWatch, Fox and CNNfn with the same
story.
Then EMail wakeupcall@cnbc.com and do the same thing.
two or
three thousand toll-free calls and the same number of emails should get their attention.
Remember to be professional and logical. It wouldn't hurt to practice what you
are going to say before the call and have some notes. Also SPELLCHECK those emails,
and check for punctuation and grammar. No profanity or anger, just facts. Also,
send the message as plain text, not html, so it will be sure to get through. Best
if sent through a REAL email address and not hotmail or yahoo.
Words like
"the ethics of the market demand Mr. Cohen come clean about his real position in
SCOX" and "the future viability and reputation of CNBC rest with how you handle
this alarming situation."
Essentially, he raises the stock price by 4% to
5% in a stock that is clearly suspect every time he is on CNBC.

Great idea, but one correction: Cohen doesn't control the largest institutional
investment in SCOX. That's Integral Capital Partners. Instead, SCOX is the largest
single holding in the fund Cohen controls and one of the largest institutional holders
of SCOX.

On the same board that Cohen
pumped the stock, MSN Money, they rated the stock "3 of 10" with a Fundamentals
score of "C"
Ceertainly not "great fundamentals."
He thinks he can
manipulate it more easily, especially from the bully pulpit CNBC gave him.
