But the full version of Slackware 8.0, that I just bought and installed, claims the card is "unsupported" Can I use transfer my video drivers from my old redhat cdrom to my new slackware? Thank you, walte...@flashmail.com BTW: disapointed with Slackware, so far.

The card was supported in earlier versions of XFree86, and the card is supposed to supported in the current version. But the xf86config utility keeps giving my the error message that the card, and the chipset are unsupported. Then the XF86Config file defaults to a straight up VGA installation - which is beyond awful. Frankly, the resolution looks much lower than 640x480. Doing a Ctrl_Alt_+ does not work. Can I somehow trick the system into accepting the card? BTW: I am in the processes of sending my commercial version Slackware 8.0 back. Walnut Creek will not help me at all. Also BTW: I see no advantage in getting the commercial version, over the download version of slackware. No support, no worthwhile documentation.
