The graphic (I didn't post my 1600x1200 desktop) is illustrative of the quality of the Linux desktop out of the box. Certain parties have made the statement that Linux isn't ready for the desktop. To make a long story longer, many of my domains just sit with no real webpage. My DNS provider on these sites is a free service called granitecanyon.com - I don't know if you are aware of granitecanyon but they have an amazing record of incompetance and downtime - they are however free. As is often the case, just when I needed granitecanyon nameservers to be up and answering queries for these particular websites, granitecanyon dropped off the air, again, without explanation or apology.
